Okay,

Here's my problem.. I'm running slackware 9.1 and I have an ISAPNP nic card that I can use fine in windows but... Can't get it working in slack! Now there is a module for my card's particular chipset which is 3c515... Now for the good stuff.. My irq/dma/and io's as reported by win98se
irq=7, dma=7, io=0280-029F, So if any other fellow person out there can give me a leg up on how to get this thing working then I'd greatly appreciate it!

From what I remember (using a ISA PNP Sound card) you need to get a isa dump , edit the file, and save it as pnp.conf or something...

pnpdump > isapnp.conf

edit isapnp.conf, making the appropriate changes, then copy to /etc/isapnp.conf

Unfortunately... I'm a little new to the whole config file editting thing in linux.. I tried your instructions and it gives me a fatal error, unable to parse file... So.. I'm still without a nic in linux.. Kinda like having a shiny corvette with no wheels.. So.. If there are any slack users out there that can lend a poor guy a hand... Well.. I'd greatly appreciate it!
