When you say "Aiee!" do you mean the canadian's way of saying "Ahhhh!" or is that literally what your computer says: "Aiee!"?

Well, allright, here it is. It has a bunch of coding before the "Aiee" thing.

"Aiee, killing interupt handler"

Whatever that means...

Heh.. I think the problem was that I hadn't confugured the video card stuff. Well, it's working now! :) Now, I'm going to have a few questions. (of course) One of them is: How do I install Aol instant messenger? I'd really like to have it back...

Get GAIM. That will have all your IM'ing needs in one package.

GAIM (http://gaim.sourceforge.net/)

Allright, I downloaded it, but how do you run it? I click on where the file is located, but it says that some packages cannot be installed.

What packages can't be installed?

When you post something saying this and that can't be installed or it shows some type of error. Try to include the exact information if it provides it.

You can also try searching the boards for other people having the same problem. Try typing it into the search thingy...

I'm very new to linux... Though, I think GAIM did download. Though, if it did, how would I start it up?

Oh yeah... Does linux get spyware? Because if it does, it would be hard to get rid of it.

I need to download mozilla firebird.

Oh my gosh... I know you're going to think I'm stupid, but, how do you acess the main menue. Is that the same thing as "Favorite applications"? That's not much of a main menue to me.

try searching for the steps to install these things on these boards before you ask. Ok. Nothing personal but we don't want to spam up the boards and start making problems. Check and see if GAIM is allready there. Most main stream distros come with GAIM already installed. I didn't think about mentioning that. If it is just delete what you downloaded and use what came with it. To get Firebird go to the site and download it and install it.
Anything can get spyware. Just check and see if it has it or not. I havn't encountered any spyware for linux. At least i think that linux gets spyware... ;)
