Hey fellas and gals! Been a while since I have really needed some serious help with Linux. Here is the deal.

I am making preparations to install SuSE 9.0 in a dual boot configuration with WinXP on a Spanish friends laptop. I asked if she wanted Linux installed in Spanish and the answer is NO in English. Okay that is easy enough. But the question that I have is not pertaining to the install so much as the configuration of the Keyboard.

She need the keyboard to be set up to recognize Spanish characters. She showed me how she set the keyboard up to work in Spanish and I am assuming that all I have to do is select a keyboard map and done! Is this correct? If not, what do I need to do to set the keyboard to recognize / create Spanish characters?

Thanks!

No soy española, soy catalana y como podéis ver, hemos conseguido cambiar el teclado para que acepte los caracteres españoles y catalanes.

I figured it out in other words!
