Took a trip to that massive hardware store Lowe's and lo and behold, all the computer screens around the store (except the cash registers) were running xGenesis on GNOME! :p It was good for the nerves somehow to see all the monitors labeled 'tty#' and not having the WXP logo bouncing around the screen :D

I would have started a new thread if this wasn't already posted. I went into Lowe's to get some paint tonight and bingo. Linux on every screen! Man was that beautiful! Especially after having gone to the University of South Florida recently and seeing MicroCannonFodder on all the monitors.

Too bad all these fools are paying for an education that is worth less and less everyday. Aministratively, the Lowe's machines were locked up Really tight, too. I could get Mozilla open, but I couldn't even browse the local files because the address bar was removed. The only other apps I could start were xcalc and xterm(login required).

I read somewhere that Home Depot is already using Linux too. Unfortunately for me, I was hoping to buy some Lowe's stock and watch them slowly destroy Home Depot. heheh (no hard feelings home depot reps. :D )
