Back in the dark days, when I wasn't using Linux, I had saved a lot of web pages as archive files (mht) because it seemed more practical to me not having to maintain complicated directory trees to have all the data that an html file would need for offline browsing.
Mht is capable to maintain internally the needed pictures (at least).
As I know now, an mht file is in reality ascii encoded, possibly with the Base64 method - the one that is used for mail and news attachments.
But now in Linux, How can I view such a file?
IE can , but I want to use native Linux Applications.
When I use Kmail to open the file, it just puts it as a e-mail adress with an empty body message.
So:
1) How can I call Kmail - or another applet to view the contents?
2) Is there another way?
Thanks.
