This may sound stupid but I was wondering if it was possible to put a linux bootable distro on a usb flash drive maybe using raw write or something else. I may be completly off base but if this is possible it would be verry usefull. Thankyou for your time. :)

yes there are a few projects to do this :-)
none have ever worked for me, i can't boot from USB even though my mobo supports it :-\

One more thing is I was wondering if there was also a way to get a live version kinda like knoppix live of if those links are live distros I havn't had a chance because it just occured to me.
