Clock in SuSE 9.0

Does anyone know why the clock on the KDE Panel in SuSE 9.0 doesn't keep in sync with the hardware clock? It loses about 3 minutes per hour while the desktop is running - then gets set properly again when I reboot. Is there a daemon or setting somewhere to fix this? The problem never exsisted in either SuSE 8.1 or 8.2, but showed up after I installed 9.0

the clock syncs on boot...

use ntp stuff. (network time protocal) which you can use to sync your clock hourly or however much you want through cron.
