Just got a Cisco Catalyst 1900 Series Switch (older 98 models).
When it starts, everything starts off green, even ports without a cable. After, 2 ports (8 and 10) turn orange along with the System LED.
The console port shows nothing until I do a debug restart by holding the Mode button and then starting it up.
I upgraded the firmware (it was old first off and I though maybe it got corrupted. it was in basement for awhile...), but that didn’t help. It seems to hang on the POST test.
I can get to an actually prompt, just the debug and diagnostic stuff.
Is there anything I can do? What the heck is wrong with it?
