Hi there,

I recently started using SUSE Linux, after many installations with Red Hat. I need to configure firewall services in a machine, and I just found that Suse has something called SuseFirewall2. I used to use Firewall Builder and Iptables, that is a powerful and flexible combination, but I was wondering, can I use SuseFirewall2 instead of those tools? Which one is better?

I want to configure an internet gateway, with a DMZ and an internal network to protect.

Thanks for your help.

I'm just guessing, but I bet SuSE's firewall is just a nice front-end for iptables... most linux firewalling apps are.

If SuSE's firewall is easier to use, then go for it!
