It's not bad, but it's not AI. Hell - you got a game with the Amstrad CPC 464 that did exactly the same called Animal Vegetable Mineral. It basically built up a database of attributes, and if it got stuff wrong you could enter what it was.

They obvious have a really big database of stuff.
