Running redhat fedora core 1.0 on another hard drive. I know that I can mount ext2 file system, but is there a way or a program that will allow me to mount a reiserfs file system from withn FreeBSD?

First, you need a c compiler. Then do some BSD kernel hacking so that the BSD kernel can read/write reiserfs........

Just kidding, from the looks of things there isn't a port of reiserfs for BSD. I don't know if there is a port of ext3 or not, but if there is and you dual boot, you might want to look into it.

In a worst case scenario you can make a ext2 partition and use that to share files and stuff.

Yes I thought of that.......and will probably do that so I can mount files linux......just hoping for the reiserfs port to allow bsd to mount that file system....

Its kinda hard to use samba or nfs....since the linux reiserfs file system is on the same computer....
