I have written several scripts/programs in perl and I want other people to use them as well, I've spent days, weeks, and even close to months on some. Here are a few of the programs I have written in perl.
Forum program
==============
unqiue users
email notification about replies
intergrated with MySQL
signatures
cookies for user info
many forums that can have many threads
and much more that I cant think of
LDAP Log Anaylizer
===============
anaylizes logs
converts date from GMT to EST
connects to a MS SQL server and inserts info into DB from a *nix box
Web Base FTP Client (uploading)
===============
FTP client w/ uploading ability
can upload a file to many ips simotaniously
has a scheduler for hourly scheduleing
Well they are pretty basic, I love challanges. I have a few more, but they are to small imho to be called anything special, the Log analyzer seems good for people who want to connect to a MS SQL DB from a *nix box, haven't heard of many people doing that. I had no option other than uploading to a MS SQL box (for work).
If anyone can point me in the right direction plz lmk. I never thought I would be a programmer.
