I just have a couple questions for anyone willing to answer them, but I'll provide a little information about my network first. I have two Win2K machines, and a Debian server all connect via a Linksys router. The Debian box is headless so I've been using ssh to admin it, which is where webmin comes in. I basically just want to be able to use Webmin from the internal network and never from outside, so would it just be a matter of not forwarding ports? would I still be able to access it internally? Now with samba, I have it set up and working except for the fact I can't use any passwords/user accounts, setting "security = share" and the network is fine, "security = user" and I can't access the debian machine anymore. It's just a home network, would leaving it as "security = share" be alright? No one else even touches the debian machine besides me. Thanks!
