I am running Fedora (rh10) with proFTP and am able to access it locally behind my nat'd firewall by typing in the host address. I can also use a client ftp to access the host and transfer files. However, when clients from the net attempt to connect they get a cannot connect to server, connection refused. Port 21 is reporting as open and forwarded to the host address. pinging ftp.mysite.com shows my net ip address and a 1.5 ms ping time. So, the site is pingable, it would appear everything is set in place. I have my domain registered through ZoneEdit, and everything is up to date and looking well on that end. Searching didnt yield any particular answers to this situation.
