gaim : can i pass input 2 gaim from a file

iam in a fix...i want to pass input to gaim from a text file
my prof challenged me that it can't be done
i need to pass the information from the file numerals only...

is it possible with the perl scriting>

I'm not sure what you mean by 'i want to pass input from the file numerals only' What exactly are you going to use the input for? Can you give an example of how you would like to use this?

let me clarify u a bit
say i have a text file..and i want to send the contents of a file to someone throught the IM window of gaim
so i need to read the file and send its contents

later on i need to set some trigger for the same
