Hi, I'm trying to install Mandrake9.2 from the hardisk, but having some trouble. Everything goes fine... except when it comes to installing packages, most of them won't install because the files are missing.
First I was installing from the .iso files, I was hoping by keeping all three iso's in the same directory, Linux will switch between them when needed. But it didn't.
So I unpacked the iso's and copied the .rpm files from CD2 and CD3 to the RPMS directory for CD1. This didn't work either, the installation still claimed the files were missing.
Any ideas on how to install from the hardisk and get the installer to access all three CDs? :)
