redhat 9 update probz

i get an error message when i trie to install pacages from red hat 9 CD:

Packges not found.
The following packages could not be found on your system. Instalation cannot continue until they are installed.

dled those missing packages and when i trie to install those, i get message that i trie to install older packages than on my system.


Is there a way to overide that?

the update windows also tells for wich packages are needed those files
so u just need to dl with up2date those packages and volla - u can update your red hat instalation


up2date /package 1/ /package 2/ ...... /package n/
( without da " / " )

it a bug in red hat that is there from previous versions
