I have 2 hard drives:
a 70gb with Windows XP on it - 2 partitions, a 40gb and a 30gb for all my saveables
a 20gb hd on which I wish to install Linux ( RedHat 7.3 for now ).
The only step I have to take to make it work would be to configure LILO after it's set up, correct? Or are there other steps I have to take before hand?

I haven't used RH, but with Mandrake it is that simple!
If you have a bootable winXP CD, you can restore your mbr if the linux install goes wrong ;)
CornFlake, did you install Lilo?

when i was trying to install lilo with my XP machine, xp would always think there was something wrong and try to restore itself (go into that automatic system restore deal or whatever), is that what you are talking about, CornFlake?
