Gertrude 11-26-2003, 04:27 AM So you want to know what version of XFree86 your running? $ XFree86 -version carl1124 11-26-2003, 04:54 AM I installed the drivers and when I config the X86Config It will not start I changed "nv" nvidia, it says can not find GXL. bwkaz 11-26-2003, 07:38 PM Can you grab your /var/log/XFree86.0.log file after a failed attempt at running X? Rename it to have a .txt extension, and attach it to your next post (but beware; if you preview your post the attachment may disappear; I know that happens on some vBulletin message boards). justlinux.com
