evolution e-mail

TRying to set up e-mail account. The only problem I'm having is when trying to RECEIVE mail. My pop server is set up right but it asks me for a password. When i first set this up i don't remember it asking me for a password. Does anybody know how i solve this. I've typed in my root password and any other password i have every used with no luck. I can send mail with no problem.

you need to know your EMAIL password, not your root password. thats totally unrelated. if you dont remember it check with your i.s.p.

If you have some kind of connection which requires a password to connect, it's probably that.
