i'm trying to to configure my dial up connection and run into this problem. i'm at the point that i am entering my isp's name server ip...it prompts that this is very important.
i am using a people pc connection that i got with my former employer (its free). when i called the tech help line to get the ip, he said there were two problems:
1. they only support windows based products. windows doesn't require such trivial info, therefore he has no idea what it is.
2. engineering dept. would have to be contacted and they don't have a phone number...i thought that was funny.
on my windows machine, i just click log in and it dials the number communicates, verifies my info, and connects me. i was hoping to do the same with my new linux box, which i am loving btw.
anyone ever run into such a problem?
