I installed Peanut Linux last night, and it was working fine, booting up went real fast. but today, it wont boot up at all. I get to the boot page and whatever i do, boot into partition, ramdisk or cd rom it tries to boot from the boot disc i have in the a drive, but it comes up with an error message so I can't use my linux anymore because i cant boot anything up. Does anyone know what my possible problem is?

Posting the exact text of the error message will at least give us something to go on. Without some specific information, we can't really home in on the problem.

-How is the boot order set in your BIOS? Set it to boot from the CD-ROM first and see if it will then boot from the install CD.

- Have you tried making a new boot floppy? If not, do so, using a different floppy disk.

-How did you create the boot floppy? (exactly, please)

its set to boot from cd rom, then a, then c.

I had two old boot discs I made a while ago, it worked fine with them.
Then when i had Linux all configured and everything, I though i should make new boot discs for the newer version of Linux (dont know why i though this) It came up with some error on the first disc, but made the disc anyways.
I suspect this might be the problem.

I don't know how to make another boot floppy, because I made mine in Linux.

now im completely screwed beceause I cant even get Linux to boot up AT ALL. I tried making new boot discs by copying the boot.img file from the install cd I have onto a disc, and when i turn my computer on it just comes up as Boot Failed.
I have absolutley no idea what to do, I had PL 9.5 all installed and ready to go on my computer one night, and now I cant even get into the login screen.
I am running an older computer, so if anyone could link me to a site or FTP where I can PL 9.4 that would be swell as well.

If you have access to a Windows machine, you can use the "rawwrite" utility to create a bootable floppy. If rawwrite isn't included on your install CDs (usually in a "dosutils" folder), try to download it from your distros web site. If you get errors, use a fresh floppy disk.
