Linux and Freebsd boot question

I left some space open on my hard disk and I'm getting ready to install Freebsd on to it and I was wondering weather I should let BSD handle the boot loader or let Linux handle it. If you have any suggestions or comments lemme know.

I haven't used BSD that much, I would stick with the linux bootloader for now since you have some knowledge of it and the bsd one will be new.
