Websense Clone?

Hi everyone,

I don't know if there is a product out there that does this, so far the only thing I get pointed back to is Squid. However, Squid is a proxy.

What I need is something similar to Websense that authenticates users against an NT Domain and then verifieds that the sites they are visiting are allowed. It then needs to log the traffic.

However, it is not a Proxy as it just intercepts the traffic and then makes the analysis to see if they can go.

Does anyone know of a tool similar?

Any ideas would be cool!

You could set up a transparent proxy... but I'm not sure if you can do Windows security with Squid.

I don't remember for sure how to do this, but I'm pretty sure it was in one of the networking HOWTO's at www.tldp.org.
