Just run switchdesk in a terminal and choose kde.

I don't know how different Fedora is from Red Hat 9, but under /etc/sysconfig/ is a file called desktop. You are going to have to edit this file as root using your favorite text editing program. You should see a line DESKTOP="GNOME". Change it to DESKTOP="KDE". Also, if you want kdm to start instead of gdm or xdm, add DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE" to the file as well.

or you can run switch disk from withen gnome under the system settings menu then more system settings you will see a menu icon for the switchdisk tool. you can also set your default desktop manger under the session menu of your kdm/gdm login menu if you click session menu then select kde kdm/gdm will say somthing like gnome is your current default session would you like to use kde for future sessions.
