I've heard that said a few times and I think India are moving the same way. Could be a classic East meets West scenario... there's gonna be tears!

And as for bootlegging getting the boot. I'm sure all those talented hackers, crackers and pirates will continue to put their abilities to good use by cracking newer media protection systems more as well as throwing the odd Anti-Microsoft slur over the pond.
