In other words, you'll need to edit your cookie file to delete the "Do not accept" from JustLinux.com (or just change it to "Accept"). Then, go to your preferences, and change the cookie monitor to "ask for confirmation before accepting cookie", and save. Now, head to JustLinux, login, and it'll set the cookie. You can then go back and set the cookie monitor to disable, but the cookie already there should still work on the JL forums. I'm one to surf without cookies, java, or re-direct enabled, so I've run into this problem, too. banzai "stealth surfer" kai ozdream 11-03-2003, 06:25 AM Originally posted by banzaikai Howdy. Gee, don't I feel like a Noob!!!! :o I did not even think of that, I am at work and do most of my reading of JL at work and this box dumps cookies ever hour or so. I will have to change that... Thanks... Satanic Atheist 11-03-2003, 01:20 PM Originally posted by ozdream I am at work and do most of my reading of JL at work I guess you're as bad a slacker (or good?) as I am! Here's an interesting one - someone (no names mentioned) managed to stick they're cookie directory on the network, so now we can all see our own cookies in a redirect to the local drive if we browse this folder on the network. I simply don't know how to explain it better than that... James justlinux.com
