how can one make those semi-transparent menues? and how can one change the icon and the stuff on the left of a the menu<may i call it start menu?>:rolleyes: ?

well , i got kde 3.1 and 3.0 gnome 2 blackbox flux box ... etc , i would appreciate telling me how 2 do it in kde and gnome ! mayb in flux too !! :D
