Hey everyone
My friend just recently installed Mandrake 9.1, and now he cant log in using the graphical interface that comes up when the machine is booted up. But its not a login problem, because switching to the konsole with ctrl-alt-F4 he can login both as a normal user and root. When trying to login through the graphical interface he gets:

"There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:

Could not read network connection list.
/home/monarch/.DCOPserver_localhost__0

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

we checked and dcopserver is running.
Thanks for any help
