I am new to Linux and I have been searching the web for programs to run on my box. Does anyone have a favorite site to find downloadable apps (shareware, freeware, or other)? I am looking for office apps (word processor, spreadsheet...), and games. Almost ever site I have gone to have removed Linux programs.

For games I have a nice evolving list in the games forum (http://justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=110283) of everything from commercial to free and news sites. Worth checking out and keep you busy for days :)

And this is more of a /dev/random question ;)
