Download an Icon theme from art.gnome.org
http://art.gnome.org/themes/icon/327.php
that one to be exact
the file is
ICON-Snow-Apple.tar.gz
I am using Redhat 9 with Gnome desktop. I went into themes, Icons, and tried to install it but nothing happened...any ideas???

did you get an error saying somthing like, this is not a vailed theme file? I have not used gnome for a while but did you extract the theme? I do'nt think you should have to though

I get a message when I try to install it but it flashes so fast I have no idea what it says, ive tried installing it extracted and not, ive tried everything I can think of

I figured it out logged in as root and copied it to .icon folder and there it was :)
