I was installing this game with wine the other day, everything went fine, but when I start the game the games splash screen get stuck in the picture, covering the lower, right part of my screen.

Anyway have anyone experienced something similar and know how to fix it?

Run it in a window, full screen doesn't work well...or try switching the video modes from D3D to OpenGL or OpenGL to D2D.

You can run it in a window by either changing your wine config to this, it's commented out by default
[x11drv]
"Desktop" = "800x600"

or/and in the DeusEx.ini file
[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
FullscreenViewportX=800
FullscreenViewportY=600
FullscreenColorBits=16
StartupFullscreen=True

Thanks! I got it working now. Did not work to change it to window mode ingame though, so I had to edit the wine config to make it work.
