If I have MDK 9.1, do I have to download the 9.2 ISO's to upgrade?

Is there someway of upgrading without d/l the 9.2 isos???

I am not sure if I can answer that for sure however I cannot find a link to the 9.2 ISO's as I want to try MDK as I have been using RH 4ever. If you can provide me with a link to the 'actual ISO's' I'd really appreciate it.

I've also used Red hat for a while, nice, but Mandrake gives you more goodies, but still don't want Mandrake, used Mandrake for a little bit not moved to SuSE, even more goodies. Here is the link you were looking for : Mandrake link (http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3)

The iso's won't be available 'til they hit store shelves. Then they will post them; it's a marketing thing by a company that understandably wants to get paid for their time and effort. Free iso's released before they hit store shelves make their paying public look stupid.

this may be true, but if you love your distro, you would buy to support. i haven't gotten around to buying mdk 9.1 set but i should, at this rate though i might as well wait until 9.2 comes around. oh well, you can always get the Release Canidits now.

Sorry to give you the wrong impression, I don't use it. I don't agree with their distribution methodology, though I do understand it. I use Gentoo, FreeBSD, RedHat, Debian, & Slowlaris, having tried > 40 distros, Mandrake included. (RedHat with apt-get and a good file repository is very tough to beat, btw.)

oh, well i don't mind, i was just putting in what i thought. Besides, whatever you like is whats best for you.

I've played with Red Hat a little, but it can be a pain. i forget exacts of what problems i was having, but i didn't like it for some reasons. I just like mandrake because its been the best, doing generally everything i wanted it to.

oh yeah, i looked on the site, and you can download 9.2 now, not iso's, but the files are there.

OK.....WELL, i never saw them on any mandrake mirrors.....
