Hi There
I wonder if anyone can help me out on this issue. We are running a Win2k Server as our PDC with ISA server installed as the proxy server. And it requires me to log on with a username and password. When I try to browse the web via RH9 it is not even prompting me for a username and password. The error that I am recieving is as follows:
"HTTP 407 proxy Authentication required, The ISA server requires authorization to fullfill the request. Access to web proxy service denied (12209)"
I have installed Samba and it seems to work pretty well. I can print to Windows printers as well as see the other Windows machines on the Network. I can browse those machines as well, although I have not mounted any of their shares as I don't need them right now. I have joined our domain by issuing the following command in RH9;
smbpasswd -j Domain -r logon_server -U user
and it is still now working.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
