help to install mandrake9.1

I bought a new ATI 128 9200 video card, as soon i try to install linux mandrake 9.1 after few second I press enter and supposedly should do the probing instead the monitor goes black and that's all , if i put back the ATI 7000 then all is ok , any help would be apreciate I am less than a beginner

You may have to use the 7000 card to install and then find the correct drivers for the 9200 after you get Mandrake installed. Or you may be able to use the text mode installation (which isn't much more difficult than the graphical install).
