I've been hooked on Enemy Territory for months...it's terrible! I like playing on limited life servers so people actully TRY and it's lots of fun with team damage on also :)

America's Army takes a lot of my time also...
I completly fogot I haven't passed Neverwinter Nights yet!

I'm getting ready to play some Duke Nukem 3D on Linux now. It got ported over and works great! (You have to have the Atomic Addition CD though, the normal one won't work)

Tribes 2, I used to play hideously large amounts of it, and still play quite a bit now (just swapped clans)

Does it actually run right in Linux? I was able to play it in Windows until the last handful of patches, Then I started getting the unhandled exception errors, and decided to free up disc space.

I play using the Linux port done by Loki. You have to buy it unfortunately, but it runs excellently.

Neverwinter Nights! I only played up to chapter 2 for single player but the online part of it is great!

I have been very involved with Neverwinter Nights. I love the game and I hope that Bioware will port all of their software over to Linux. I am about halfway through chapter 3 right now and after I complete the game, I will move onto the expansion packs and some of the free downloadable modules. Too bad that many companies say that there isn't a large Linux install base to justify their efforts to port their software over to Linux. And there won't be a large install base until there is more software available.

Before NWN, I have played Quake 2, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament. Soldier of Fortune, RTCW, RTCW: ET. Some great free games have to include Frozen Bubble, XMame, Chromium and LBreakout2.

I am interested in seeing how Icculus does with Medal of Honor, Devastation, and if he ever gets time, Serious Sam 1 and 2. I am sure all will be exceptionally high quality as usual.

Speaking of which has anyone here beaten the game?

Better, do you guys know any cheats for it? :D

You don't beat it. After you get to level 9, the levels just sort of keep going. I got bored after level 13.

As for cheats, well, the only one I've come up with is the one that let me get past level 2 and all the way up to level 13. I changed the source so that damage to my ship didn't register. :D

These are pretty fun games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
here's a few bits of gaming goodness I discovered today

-neverball
http://aoeu.snth.net/neverball/
super monkey ball type game with cool graphics (even though the site looks ugly)

-Beneath a steel sky
Beneath a steel sky: a DOS sci-fi adventure game... now FREE!!
Download the full version, and the latest version of SCUMMVM to run it from www.scummvm.org. Seems to work well. (SuSE even advertises it as one of thier 'new' games with SuSE 9.0 ). Worth a look.

-Briquolo
Cool open-gl break-out clone
Briquolo.free.fr
(note last time I tried the site was down... do a search on "briquolo" and you should find a few FTP sites containing it.) FLAME power-up ROCKS!!

tell me what YOU think of them
ENJOY!!

My girlfriend I like to play frozen bubble against each other. Great artwork!

Also played my first game of enemy territory last night. I was freekin' horrible but I had a great time getting blown to pieces.

Now I just need to get NWN loading in linux (since I recently removed Windows off my computer-Yeah!)
