I've recently started using Linux and I was wondering.. What kind of games do you people play on Linux, i.e. not with wine/winex? Here's what I have so far:

Uplink: Excellent hacking game by introversion (http://www.introversion.co.uk) which comes with a Linux version on the CD. They've even released the source code, but it's not free.

Neverwinter Nights: It works really well, pity the toolset didn't get ported..

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory: A great game, and it's freeee!

NetHack: I also like ADOM.

What other games do you play? Post them here.

Quake, Quake2, SoF, UT, UT2k3, Quake3, ET, RTCW, and most of what Loki published (Descent3, HeavyGear 3, a few others).

Ditto to that last post. Also, some games created in linux: Tuxracer, Tuxkart, frozen bubble, Freeciv. My main play right now has been Enemy Territory. That game is freaking awesome. Sadly, something freezes up in Linux and I have to kill X. It's probably a problem with my Radeon 9700 pro (which I did finally manage to get working after ditching Debian and installing Gentoo). I hope HL2 gets ported :D (Wishful thinking, I guess) Doom 3, too. Why else would I buy a $300 video card? ;p

Quake 3

Tribes 2

I'm looking in vain for Savage in the UK, but no sign so far :/

I just recently got a GeForce FX 5200 so I have only begun to play any 3d games on Linux; I know that I'm cheap for only buying a $100 video card but it performs great. I just recently tried Quake 3 Arena again and now I have just bought UT2003. Now that I can, I also use Epsxe (linux version) whenever I play any PS1 games. I also like playing Frozen Bubble from time to time.

If you like point-and-click then http://www.hopkinsfbi.com is the way to go.

Plus, it's not quite 'native' but http://www.scummvm.org will let you run a load of LucasArts point and click, and Beneath a Steel Sky has just been released.

I have yet to try the Duke Nukem port, but it looks good.

http://www.icculus.org is another good place to look.

XKobo is one of my favourites too.
