Hi,

I can not install mouse in freeBSD 4.8, on my laptop.
I have a usb, and a built in.In the installation there is no option for them.
When I go window to window, how can I go back???

Please give me some help

Did you recompile your kernel for usb support. You might want to look into LINT file for USB options. LINT is a general kernel. It should be in /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/

My usb mouse works fine on my laptop.

You might want to check out FreeBSD handbook (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/index.html) for kernel. It's the best doc for FreeBSD. :)

you should be able to setup your mouse daemon is sysinstall, for usb use MouseSystems

then you will need to edit your rc.conf file manually and add your device as /dev/ums0

and the type will be auto
