i been comparing files in mozilla and MozillaFirebird (Phoenix) trying to figure out how mozilla prevents animated graphics from animating and have not found it, in mozilla's prefrences there is an option to prevent animated graphcis from running, and in Phoenix MozillaFirebird there is no option to prevent animated graphics from running, has anyone got a clue??? :confused:

Somewhere in prefs.js probably, considering that's where Mozilla stores everything in its preferences window... ;)

(it'll be somewhere under Thunderbird's profile location; Mozilla's is ~/.mozilla)

Why don't you send this question over to the forums at Mozillazine? I'm sure there are a number of threads that you could search through [first] and then possibly post your question.

It's just a suggestion. I'm not saying that you don't have the right to ask such a question here. It's just that it's probably the best place to seek out the answer. Of course there's always:

yeppers, it was in prefs.js and i must have looked in that file several times and i guess i just missed it:D

after adding this line to userpfref.js and surfing around a while it does not allways work :(

maybe it will be edded to future releases of Phoenix...
