freebsd installation

I try to install freebsd on my laptop.I download the 4.7 version and I burnd them on the cd.But I can not boot up from the cd.
I do not have floppy drive.
There is any other way to do????

have you checked your BIOS and that it is set to boot from the CD drive?

Do as jme suggested, double check the BIOS, if that dosnt work then mabey try a network install if you can.

I don't mean to insult you, but did you just burn the ISO to the cd, or did you do a real image burn? ;)
