That is just showing the kernel route cache.. Is there something about that that makes you think your are being attacked for some reason?

As soon as I read the subject, I knew who would be the member posting this. :)

you have not helped me to understand and giving all sorts of negative response.

Your forum is already dying. This is a linux forum for the newbie. I need to understand my problem. I ask silly question only to help other people not to ask silly question. You spent time to insult me again and again.

Look at the the past record, that you have insulted me.

what are u?

U have never spent time to help to understand the issue.

In answering "the correct way"- I understand the problem and may be guide me a little. First I crawl, and then I stand up and walk.... and running a little bit.

No one insulted you in this thread :), didn't you see the smilies in the posts? It seemed more like good natured teasing...maybe you had a bad day??

If they did insult you, why invest time in responding to them and you still didn't answer Gertrude's question!!

Why did you think, in the first place, that some one was attacking you i.e. what in the route output was unusual/unexpected to the extent that it promped this thread?

Maybe some background about your suspicions would be helpful in comprehending where you're coming from.

802.11, take it easy- we're only having a little fun with fact that almost all of your posts seem to have something to do with security worries over what are usually normal happenings.

In this case JohnT is right- you're just looking at the route cache; a little of your own research would have given you an answer. If you want to clear the information in the cache, use the following command:

ip route flush cache

And by the way- you've been here long enough to know we often tease each other; don't take it personally. If I got upset about all of the abuse I've gotten from mdwatts, I'd have gone crazy by now (no comment there Mike, I can hear your devious mind working from here)

If I am good at LINUX, I should have been "A LINUX teacher" in the internet.

You know how it is- all you weirdos start to look the same after awhile. Scarves on heads, long gnarly beards- what's the difference?

:D :D

is someone attacking me?

Why don't you set up an iptables firewall - then you can log all activity going in and out of the internet. Might be more useful if you're a little suspicious.
