Ms Project Import?

Hi,

wonder if anyone can help on this one? I've just had a call from my father; he's been sent a Project file saved in the newer mpp format, and needs to read it - are there any Linux (or Windows if it comes to the absolute worst case scenario) applications that can read this format?

there is a java project on sourceforge that suposedly tries to do that.
