how to find which version of Xfree is installed in my m/c.
i want to install driver for my ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. for this i need to know which verson of XFree is installed in my m/c. they provided Check.sh which will determint the version.. but it is not working for me.. i am geting the following error..

[root@localhost Desktop]# sh Check.sh

why it is not working on my m/c.

well if you're running an rpm based distro you can do rpm -q XFree86 else you can do XFree86 -version
