America's Army Graphics Problem?

Hello to anyone reading this post
i downloaded and installed America's Army fine, but when i got to play it i get the following message

[jack@admin armyops]$ armyops
Couldn't set video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual


History:

Exiting due to error


is this a library problem or a hardware problem, and how could i fix it. my guess is that it is a graphics card problem, because my graphics card is really horrible, but i dont know

just for the record, this is the file that i installed AA with:

armyops-lnx-170.sh.bin

Try this from a terminal

$ glxinfo | grep direct
direct rendering: Yes

If yours comes back as a no, we found the problem :)

What is you graphics card? You will need 3d acceleration to play AA

oh yea graphics card is prosavage s3

you will also need the latest version of America's Army to play online which is 1.9.0

i tried searching to find how to enable 3d acceleration, but i couldnt find anything, does anyone know how to do this or where i could find this information
