I am trying to install bsd 4.8 and I have two hard drives.
Here is how things look.
ad0s1 (hardrive 1)
swap
/
/usr
ad1s1 (hardrive 2)
/temp
/var
swap
/usr2
-----------------------------------------------
When I goto install it says
"unable to swap to /dev/ad0s1b. Device is not configured this may cause the installation to fail at some point if you don't have enough memory"
So I went ahead and clicked okay and this message pops up
"unable to make new filesystem on ad0s1a"
I'm not sure what the problem is. I had BSD on these two drives before, they were set up a little differently but it used to work. I didn't format both drives before, could this be the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
