RH9 Network

I cannot for the life of me get Redhat to activate the network card. It's onbaord an nforce2 mainboard. IT's based on the realtek 8201 chipset which according to the documentation doesn't require a driver. I installed all the nforce2 driver packages but no dice. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what to do since I cannot even get the card to activate.

have you tried disabling PNP in your BIOS? and then running sound card dectition again?
