I have only just succeeded in getting Linux installed and connected to the internet (Suse 8.2 - using Konqueror)

When I first started connecting to JustLinux from my Linux OS I was asked if I wanted to allow cookies from this site. I replied yes.
Also I was asked the same thing when browsing the web pages from sites I did not recognise, I assumed from advertising installed on the web page - I disallowed these.

Now, worryingly, I no longer get asked these questions so I am concerned that cookies are being installed when I would prefer them not to be.

In any case, what is the policy of JustLinux to allow advertisers to install cookies for their own purpose - or maybe these cookies were something else.

I still get asked when I visit other web sites and I don't think I replied to JustLinux to always allow cookies - but I guess I may have done in a moment of distraction.. Can I new reset my browser back to the initial mode if this is the case?

I wouldn't worry about cookies too much because they're a integral part of the internet and there's no way around it. If you disallow 'em you may lose functionality when browsing certain sites. If you don't have top secret information of which millions of lives depend on, don't give yourself an ulcer worrying about cookies. They're the least of your worries in this world. I'd worry about more pressing things like...CA becoming part of mexico, or having to learn spanish in order to read the billboards in my city, or davis pardoning death row inmates, releasing them from prison, and then allowing them to vote in order to get their votes. yada yada yada. LOL Should I tell ya how I really feel?
