Connecting Redhat7.3 Linux To Windows 2000 Server

This may sound stupid to some but i am a first time user of linux. And i want it to connect to a windows 2000 server and want to see how it preforms on the network .Becuase it will replace the win2k server i f found to work stable on the current network.But the question for now is How to connect the Linux to the win2k Server ??:confused:

I want it to browse the internet tru the server aswell THX.

Do you want to connect to the internet through the W2K server acting as a router or connect for file sharing (Samba)?

Yes i want to use it with samba to do file sharing and use the internet
becuase my adsl line is on the w2k server and if it runs well i want to use
the linux machine as the adsl host and file sharing server
