I've done a search and haven't found anything similar so i'm going to take my chances :D
Well here's the deal...I have 3 boxes. My own Box, a Server (ftp, http, etc) and my laptop.
I have an ADSL PPPoE connection, i have a SpeedTouch Home Modem (not the USB version, the eth one) and a D-Link Switch. I run MDK 9.1 on both my box and on my laptop and Slack 9.0 on the server.
Well right now my connection is working wonderfully on all my boxes, i can do independent dial-ups with each and get simultaneous diferent ip's.
Well now comes the problem...I have a setup like this...
Modem -> Switch <- All boxes
This meens that to have a connection i can't assign any ip's to the eth cards, their ip is given by rp-pppoe and is the dyn ip my ISP gives me on dial, and that meens no network ability :(.
Well now here's my question...if i switch the switch (sorry for the euphemism :) ) for a router can i continue to have adsl connections capability in my boxes and gain the hability to build a network?
I know that there is a more simple way to do things, and that is to buy one card to add to one computer and to connect the Modem directly to it and turn it into a gw. But this is not a choice because the server is very far away (well not that far :)) from the modem.
I hope i haven't been too buggy in my question :D
So what do you guys say, can i go ahead and buy the router and finally get my network?

you sure can, a friend of mine has a very similar setup to what you have. I believe he has a netgear router or something like that

Thanks for reply...:)
That's all i needed to ear, i'm thinking on either a D-Link, 3Com or U.S. Robotics router, although i've been told that there's a company called Micronet that does some nice and cheap routers.
