Graphics won't display on server [Archive]

I'm brand new at this so this is propably trivial. But here goes:

I just moved my HTML files from my desktop to my server along with various backgrounds. I then corrected the paths in the HTML documents to match the new locations of the graphics on the server, But still the backgrounds won't display - What am i missing?:confused:

I'm using the E-smith server based on redhat 7.3

It could be something to do with permissions on your background images. Go to another machine and type in the address of the images and if they show up then your permissions is ok. Hope you figure it out.
